So, yesterday I began my plunge into functional programming with Microsoft’s F# language and the book Expert F# (written by Don Syme whom is the main designer of F# and published by APress).

Functional programming is a whole other beast compared to the imperative, object-oriented programming I’m used to - it’s very refreshing to not have to worry so much about state, and pattern matching makes me drool.
